National Students Federation(NSF) decided to baycot the functions on National Teachers day in all over the state. Activists of NSF will not participate in any teacher day function, that was organised by state Government of district authorities at any where in state. Members of NSF will also support the agitation of different teachers organisations held at different places in state. This was disclosed by the Baljinder Singh Bind the state President of NSF.
After the meeting of state working committee Baljinder Singh said, Punjab Government try to commercialize the education. Private educational institutes violating the rules of establishment and also doing economical cheating with the students.Higher education became dream for the students of general community. With any ground Government fee hikes every year. The accepted demands of teachers were not implemented.Students will support the agitation of teachers on National Teacher Day.
